Buyer Beware! – Title and Serial Mumber Check

Before buying any motor vehicle, ensure the current owner can furnish a valid title for the vehicle. Confirm that the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) matches the numbers stated on the title. Typically, you can find this number on the dashboard on the driver’s side, visible through the windshield. If these numbers don’t align, insist on rectifying the discrepancy before proceeding with the transaction, or consider not completing the purchase.
